Automated Backups and Self-Healing Systems

We built a backup and monitoring layer that runs 24/7 without human intervention. Git-based workspace snapshots every 6 hours. Markdown health checks every morning. RAG index rebuilds nightly. If something breaks, the system catches it before we do.

The Stack

Git Auto-Backup: Full workspace committed and pushed to a private GitHub repo every 6 hours. Point-in-time recovery for any file.
Markdown Health Check: Daily scan of 133+ files for broken frontmatter, orphaned references, and stale content.
RAG Index Rebuild: Nightly re-indexing of all knowledge, SOPs, projects, and memory into 1,891 searchable chunks.
Disaster Recovery SOP: Documented procedures for full system restoration from any failure state.

The Philosophy

Resilient systems aren't built after disasters — they're built before them. Every automation here exists because we asked: what happens if this breaks at 3 AM? The answer should always be: the system handles it.
